We stayed here for a three day ski trip to Schweitzer and overall I would definitely stay again. The location is excellent. It’s across the street from a Walmart Supercenter and 5 minutes from the Schweitzer park and ride shuttle lot. Super convenient. The breakfast arrangement is a bit unconventional but overall fine. The hotel itself doesn’t serve any food. Instead they have a partnership with the neighboring Bar & Grill where you can redeem a voucher for a free breakfast. Our first two breakfasts were with table service which was insanely slow. It legitimately took us 50+ minutes to eat, which is not what you want when you’re trying to get some food in you as fast as possible and catch the earlier buses to the mountain The last breakfast was buffet style (serve yourself) and this was much more efficient. The food is great. Definitely a step above your average hotel breakfast. Some parts of the room “experience” felt a little cheap. For example the room’s fireplace was completely removed, with an “out of order” paper taped over it. The shower curtains are also a bad design. But all of this is within context. The room pricing was very cheap so the overall value proposition of this hotel is phenomenal. BTW, we stayed in one of the rooms with the hot tub/whirlpools and it was great. Nothing better than unwinding in a hot tub with some bubbles after a long day in the cold

This is a nice hotel with great amenities. There is a fenced dog run for the fur babies, a pool, 2 hot tubs, a fitness area and a pool table for entertainment. The breakfast is next door in an eatery and the food was absolutely amazing! Best breakfast I have ever had from a hotel! The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The window seat is a nice added bonus. I would stay here again.

Came to bring the kiddos on a little staycation and was supposed to utilize my hotel discount at a Marriott property down the road, that didn’t work out as planned so we chose here and I’m glad we did! The front desk agents were all so friendly, pool was warm and the food at the restaurant was good! Will come again. :)

Whenever we go through Sandpoint/Ponderay Idaho, Ruby Hotel is our stay over place. Friendly service, quick and efficient check in and check out, super clean rooms and facilities. Price point is definitely appropriate for the value received. I consider it a very good price.

Amazing experience, as usual. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, 2 Jacuzzis heated to perfection and a pool for the kids. But the best part is the farm to table breakfast that's included in your stay.

Such a great hotel! The indoor hot tubs and pool were great at the end of the long day with kids. We went in January hoping for snow, and got our wish! The hotel has sleds you can rent from the front desk for free and a fun sledding hill behind the pool area. The room was clean and perfect for our large group (we had the Family Suite) and everyone we met was super friendly and helpful. The drive to downtown Sandpoint is less than ten minutes. The free breakfast buffet at the restaurant next door was an amazing added benefit! The man running it was so nice and attentive (without being pushy) and the food was way better than usual free hotel breakfast. (Pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, toast, fruit and yogurt bar) all in all we had a great time and would stay here again!
